Aquifer Design is a ‘T’ shaped company. We were founded by an engineer and an anthropologist who came together to create a new type of business. Our combined backgrounds span work in healthcare, HR consulting, engineering, professional services management, software development and design, cultural anthropology, and management education.
We are curious about the future of consumer culture, work, strategy, and innovation, and we strive to have a researched-based practice.
We have recently published a book, The Innovation Acid Test: Growth Through Design and Differentiation (April 2008, Triarchy Press), which outlines our innovation model.
And we are near completion of a second book on coworking and independent entrepreneurs–How Independent Entrepreneurs and Coworking Communities are Redefining the World of Work.
